For years, Jeff and Tawnya Jackson lived in Berryhill, OK. When not working, they could be found at an event in the community or at the high school baseball field. In 2010, the Jacksons first heard the vision of the Solace Family Home. Jeff was immediately captivated, willing, and desired to be a part of the future Home. He began serving on short-term medical trips with the 1040 Initiative to Cote d’Ivoire and fell in love with the people and the country. In 2013, Tawnya took her first trip to Cote d’Ivoire and felt God began to work on her heart as well. She knew that one day she would be moving there with her husband to help manage the Solace Family Home.

After years of prayer and waiting, the time came in 2017. Jeff and Tawnya moved to Cote d’Ivoire on June 1st to oversee the construction of the home. They will serve as directors of the Solace Family Home alongside our Ivorian Director and staff.
